Description
This fire barrel is ideal for building a fire plate barbecue. The barrel is new and the material thickness is far more stable than conventional oil barrels.
The barrel has a lid that is attached with the help of a clamping ring. The barrels are shipped safely with DHL, so there is no risk of dented barrels.
Because the fire is not made directly in the basic fire barrel, we have developed a fire box for this purpose.
We are happy to paint your barrel with a heat-resistant stove enamel at our factory, simply add this item to your shopping basket

Die Feuertonne besteht aus Stahl und wird mit der Zeit eine rote Rostschicht ansetzen, das ist so gewollt. Wer die Grilltonne lieber in schwarz möchte, kann sie ganz einfach mit drei Dosen hitzefestem Lack ansprühen.

Dear Grillrost, I am interested by your set fire barrel + fire plate (100 cm), but a two questions remain. Your fire barrel is made of fine grain steel, and will rust. Is this fine grain steel a sort of weathering steel (such as corten steel), thus the rust will remain stable and protect the barrel, or another type of steel, for which the rust will deteriorate the structural resistance of the barrel over time ? In the second case, what is the durability of the barrel, knowing that there is great chances that it is stored outside. If I buy the set, it will be the plain barrel, without customisation. The customisation seems to add holes in the barrel, and thus, increases the oxygen arrival to the fire. Without the holes made for customisation, is the draw of the barrel enough to maintain the flame at a correct level ? Will the fire be smothered ? Thanks in advance for your answer. thank you very much for your interest in our fire barrel set with the 100 cm fire plate and for your detailed questions.
The fire barrel is made of solid fine-grain steel. This is not a weathering steel like Corten steel, but a high-quality, robust steel that deliberately develops a natural, beautiful reddish-brown rust patina over time. This surface rust is desired and gives the fire barrel its characteristic and authentic look.
If the barrel is not standing permanently in water and the bottom is protected from moisture, the durability is extremely high. Under normal outdoor use and proper placement, the fire barrel will last for many years – practically indefinitely. Regarding air supply: the barrel itself has no drilled holes. Nevertheless, the fire is supplied with sufficient oxygen through the internal support rails. This ensures a clean, stable flame and a relatively low-smoke combustion. The fire will not be smothered.

Das paßt so
Stabile Tonne vieleicht ist eine Öffnung im Boden, seitens des Herstellers, damit sich kein Wasser dort ansammeln und Korrosion verursachen kann eine Verbesserung, die keinen größen Aufwand darstellt

Produit sympa, mais mal protéger pour le transport
Très décevant, pas vraiment content. Boîte carton Très mince, beaucoup de coups à l'arrivée dans le tonneau. De plus des tâches style rouille après 1 jour à l'endroit des impactés. Vraiment mécontent....
