Our family business
This is us, the family behind Grillrost.com. Founded in 2012 by brothers Johannes and Matthias, the whole family soon became involved. Father Rainer, who is in the workshop almost around the clock. Teresa, the sister, who is responsible for the great pictures in the shop and mum Gabriele, without whom nothing would work in the office. We run our company with passion and are on fire for it 24/7. The picture was taken at our summer party, we don't normally wear shirts in the workshop :-)

The team
We now have over 50 employees working in the workshop during the peak season. This includes 14 different nationalities, which we are very proud of.

Production process
Our grill grates are made by hand. Naturally 100% Made in Germany.

It all starts with high-quality V2A stainless steel. We use food-safe stainless steel for our grill grates, which we source by the metre directly from a company in our region.

Your premium barbecue grill is cut to the millimetre, you can also choose the bar thickness freely and the grill bars are rotatably installed in the grill.

Our grill grates are TIG welded, which fuses the base material together and creates a very stable joint.
4.
On request, our premium grill grates can be personalised with an engraving, which is finely milled into the frame and makes your grill grate unique.
5.
No chemical stains - We rely on manual labour when sanding and polishing our products and do not use chemical stains.
