Grill grill canteen - Denis grills! Chicken with pretzel dough and asado holder

.

Crispy and juicy

Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Denis is eager to grill something tasty for himself and his colleagues.
Today he has come up with a special recipe, ‘chicken with pretzel dough’. Cut the chicken into cubes, skewer it and, quite ingeniously, take the dough from a pretzel, twist it up and wrap it around the skewer.
The result is a delicious barbecue product for which our asado grill is particularly suitable.

Fire bowl

Grilling is done with the fire bowl, which stands on a plinth for a comfortable grilling height.

Frustration reduction

As we are grilling on an open wood fire, it is a good idea to use this fireball, which ensures that there is always enough air reaching the fire starter. This reduces the frustration factor enormously and a lot of wood can be added without any problems.

Asado holder

The asado holder is quickly and easily attached to the fire bowl. The asado holder can also be universally attached to a fire barrel or other barbecues that have a corresponding wall. There are several practical accessories for the asado holder in our shop.

Chicken breast

We used chicken breast. These are cut into cubes, large enough for the skewer.

The beech cutting board is a perfect match.

Asado spit

Here is a ready-made skewer. The pretzel dough is simply wrapped around the chicken. The asado holder is available with stainless steel skewers or wooden skewers.

Here we have used the stainless steel skewers.

Seasoning

The chicken is coated with classic spices. Oil, salt, pepper and paprika powder. Once you have tried a brush with a large contact surface, you will never want to use another one.

Of course, this brush is also available in our shop.

90°

The skewers can each be rotated by 90°. This ensures that all sides are grilled evenly. It is usually sufficient to turn the skewers once or to distribute them over the 6 mounting options of the asado holder, depending on how the fire behaves.

And very importantly, always make sure you have plenty of liquid ice when grilling!

Enjoyment

The skewers are at their best when the batter is baked. This can be seen from the crispy, dark surface. Chicken is cooked through relatively quickly, but you should allow some time for the batter.

The grilling process can be easily regulated using the so-called switch lever on the asado holder.
