Cleaning the replacement stainless steel grill grate for the Go Anywhere from Weber If the shine on the grill grate is not so important to you, you don't need to put so much effort into cleaning it; a quick burnout after grilling and removal of burnt pieces of meat is all you need. This brief cleaning is sufficient and the grill grate or grill plate can be used again immediately.
Dennis and his blog vomRost.de also favour this short cleaning process after grilling a flank steak with grilled vegetables. The picture shows what his grill grate looked like after a short burn-out.
